PART #1:

1. You will be placed in groups of five. Each group will do research, discuss problems and create a final project.
2. Each group will choose ONE Vertebrate group to research.
3. The following list of vertebrates groups will help you to choose.
   • a) Amphibians
   • b) Birds
   • c) Fish
   • d) Mammals
   • e) Reptiles
4. When you have decided on a group of animals to research, print the Vertebrate Concept Map to help you plan.
5. Then click on the vertebrate group above for specific instructions.
6. Proceed to PART 2 below, once you have completed all the components in your assigned vertebrate group.

PART #2:

1. You will design ONE habitat for the "Habitat Hangout" based on the information you learned about the natural environment of one of the group of vertebrates.
2. Together, group members will choose ONE animal to place at the Habitat Hangout.
3. You will be required to create a group presentation using a software program (Corel Presentations, PowerPoint, Hyperstudio, etc.) to present your findings.
